Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy s a specialized branch of physiotherapy involving internal and external assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles. It is a first-line treatment method for addressing various types of pelvic floor dysfunction, including issues such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary or fecal incontinence, and painful intercourse.

Brooke has been working as a Physiotherapist in the Niagara region for over 10 years. She attended Queen’s University for her undergraduate degree and graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2011. Her long-standing passion for running has fueled her interest in human movement and physical fitness. She believes continuing education is an essential component to her physical therapy practice and stays up to date on current best practice. She utilizes one-on-one, hands-on assessment and treatment techniques, while focusing on functional mobility and active rehabilitation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active through a variety of outdoor sports including running, snowboarding, paddle boarding and wakeboarding.

Stephanie graduated from D’Youville College with Honours in 2017 with a major in Exercise and Sports Studies and a minor in Nutrition. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at D’Youville College and graduated in 2020.

She believes an important component of patient care is incorporating a holistic approach focusing on manual therapy and exercise for better outcomes and achieving goals.
